As a Customer Service Representative at L and S Mechanical, you will provide front-line support and follow up to customers assisting and resolving warranty or service issues related to HVAC equipment. Your key responsibilities may include dispatching work orders, administrative tasks, billing, and filing warranty claims. You will be working closely with service technicians, homeowners, and builders to ensure timely completion of job duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage both incoming phone calls and electronic warranty/service requests to identify customer needs and schedule appointments logistically and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional follow-up with homeowners and technicians to ensure issues are resolved to customer satisfaction.
• Process all service-related billing, including compiling quotes and purchase orders for invoicing.
• Maintain accurate and current house files by performing daily data entry.
• Assign and/or dispatch work orders to the field based on customer needs in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in new home construction specific telephone customer service. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry, MS Outlook, and Excel, is also essential. Additionally, you should have strong problem-solving skills, be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, communicate well, and be committed to providing quality work.
