What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Instructor NFO position at L B & B ASSOCIATES INC?
LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking part-time Contract Instructor NFO to support the P-8 devices at NAS Jacksonville, FL.
A P-8 NFO must be or have been a P-8 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified NFO or have been a simulator NFO instructor within the preceding five (5) years. A NFO must have a minimum of one fleet tour in the P-8 and minimum of one tour as an FRS Instructor NFO. Deviations from the listed qualifications may be waived on a case by case basis by the VP-30 Commanding Officer. A NFO shall have a minimum-security clearance level of Secret.
Certifications. A NFO must successfully complete the P-8 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) open-book and closed-book exams as well as a simulator procedural evaluation and must annually renew and maintain qualifications with the FRS. The minimum test and procedural evaluation scores will be as established by the FRS. The FRS Fleet NATOPS department will administer the procedural evaluation and the open-book and closed-book exams. The NFO must demonstrate an understanding of the mission, aircraft operating systems and normal/emergency crew procedures required in the execution of the P-8 aircraft.
