HVAC Controls Technician

LB&B Associates Inc., a diversified services company, is currently seeking an HVAC Controls Technician for its contract to provide mechanical maintenance services at the Mecklenburg County Courts in Charlotte, NC.  Hourly Pay Range: $43-$48 per hour.

The HVAC Controls Technician shall have a minimum of (5) years of experience and be knowledgeable of theory related to (BAS) Building Automation Systems, electrical and pneumatic instrumentation/controls and methods for testing, troubleshooting and calibrating such devices and systems.

• The HVAC Controls Technician will be responsible for operating the system, providing technical support to personnel, and troubleshooting/repair of system problems.
• The HVAC Controls Technician shall on a quarterly basis exercise all control points in the system to demonstrate that the software, hardware, and controlled devices are operating as designed.
• The HVAC Controls Technician shall submit a quarterly report identifying all necessary corrective actions, a plan for correction, and a schedule for correction.
• The HVAC Controls Technician shall be factory certified and trained for programming, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of the hardware specific to this installation and possess a minimum of five years of experience with this equipment.

Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
