LB&B Associates Inc. is accepting applications for Systems Engineering Analyst at NAS Whidbey Island, WA.
Systems Engineering Analyst (SEA)
The role requires a strong background in electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing computer operating systems.
Security Clearance: Candidates must possess and be able to maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
A SEA shall be a graduate from a two-year resident Electronics course at an accredited technical institute or completed factory/formal training on flight simulation devices.
Minimum experience shall be exclusive of formalized training and include four (4) years simulator maintenance of which two (2) years demonstrate complex maintenance skills to include
- Study and translate schematic drawings for electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot basic electronic circuits and perform component level repairs.
- Manage and administer computer operating systems in Windows, Linux, and Red Hat environments.
- Install operating systems, software patches, and perform software security maintenance.
- Install and configure networking equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Two years of electronic maintenance experience.
- Ability to study and translate schematic drawings.
- Experience troubleshooting basic electronic circuits and complex visual systems.
- Working knowledge of computer operating systems and microcomputer hardware/software.
- Knowledge of networking equipment installation and configuration.
- IAT-II certification with Security Certification or equivalent with applicable OS/CE certification.
