We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our company. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial data integrity, preparing reports, and assisting with audits.
Duties
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Process accounts payable weekly.
- Collections as needed.
- Utilize Sage software for accounting tasks.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting and corporate accounting practices.
- Experience with account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and problem-solving.
- Proficient in using Sage.
