SUMMARY

Plan, coordinate and provide overall administrative and resources required on L.C. Anderson Installations and Construction Projects. Responsible for the oversight of the delivery of field labor to ensure projects remain within labor and material estimates.

OPERATION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Liaison between field technicians and office management. Supervises on site work to ensure work is properly assigned. Assist with dealing with problems or when unexpected issues occur

· Assist with conducting AARs to determine how we can become more efficient in our project completion and remain within allocated labor and material budgets

· Speak to all field technicians daily to ensure there is constant communication between the field and office.

· Evaluate your own skills and bring necessary training requirements to the Service Manager

· Work closely with the Operations Manager to team up to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner

· Be flexible and available

· Ensures that all construction tasking activities are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal and all United Association requirements.

· Direct/Support the Field Supervision and Installers in reporting and enhancing labor efficiency and productivity. Oversee metrics to measure and manage the status of labor and material to budget.

· Directly responsible for providing feedback to the Operations Manager regarding service trends, cost-saving opportunities and customer issues.

· Directly responsible for performing all work in the most expeditious and cost efficient.

· Works closely with the project management team and sales engineers to help when needed on reviewing pricing for jobs

· SME (subject matter expert) on the installation of all HVAC/R systems

· Directly responsible for developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of:

a). Company’s products and services.

b). Equipment maintenance tasking procedures.

c). Customer needs, requirements, and service delivery issues.

d). Service industry trends.

· Directly responsible for reporting safety, quality and productivity problems.

· Responsible for the company vehicle, its safe operation and ensuring that it is operated in strict accordance with company policy (i.e. operated by authorized company employees only)

· Responsible for the performance on active project from turnover from sales department and Project managers to start-up and completion and closeout, including routine communication and status updates with PM’s, Sales, Field Foreman and Customers as required to maintain construction schedules, budgets and meet customers’ expectations.

· Coordinate, schedule, and oversee L.C. Anderson subcontractors on site to ensure that subcontractor work is performed by Customer/PM planned specification in a timely, proficient manager.

· Be the main point of contact and always ensure open communication with onsite super

· Work well with other L.C. Anderson employees, L.C. Anderson subcontractors, customers (i.e. General Contractor or End User) and other trades on project

· Flexibility and ability to work outside of standard working hours, when required by project, rigger, project schedule, or work backlog

· Complete required paperwork correctly, legible, and on time

· Supervise completion of stock lists for projects prior to commencement of work, when required.

· Responsible for company issued tools and property and return thereof upon completion of use

· Responsible for the company vehicle, its safe operation and ensuring that it is operated in strict accordance with company policy (i.e. operated by authorized company employees only)

· Perform any other task which may be required, as directed by Operations Manager

· Make sure all work is done in a professional manner, neat, clean, timely and meeting customer needs with as little inconvenience as possible to the customer

· Assist other departments as required.

· Responsible for expanding the expertise of the department via training and schooling

· In the event of an unresolved conflict on a project, involve salesperson or PM for a decision

· Adapt manpower and schedule to accommodate customer’s schedule and requirements.

· Overall, provide professional, courteous service where the customer feels he receives quality service for money spent and will be a repeat customer.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 10-15 years field experience

· Mass Refrigeration license Preferred

· Clean driving record

· OSHA 10

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

· Able to pass a background check.

· Past customer service experience is helpful.

· Previous industry experience a plus.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
