What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer/Supervisor position at L.E.I. Security & Patrol?
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to become an integral part of our team as a Security Officer II or III (Supervisor)The selected individual will patrol( foot and Vehicle) and secure assigned premises, identify risks to staff and patrons, and other related duties as assigned. this position is a leadership position and would require you to supervise other officers during your shift. Leadership experience is required and prefered in security.
Responsibilities:
Can vary according to POST
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Able to work with client personnel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 21 years old
- Military and Veterans Encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with security equipment and Laws
- Ability to handle physical workload and hours
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Proficient with computer and related software ( Office, Adobe ETC)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screen
- Must be able to pass a security check
- Training and certifications are preferred but will train and certify the right person.
- Own and able to qualify with firearms of allowed calibers and firearm types. (If armed position, Officer III)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
