Full Time/Part Time Security Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to become an integral part of our team as a Security Officer I or II The selected individual will patrol( foot and Vehicle) and secure assigned premises, identify risks to staff and patrons, and other related duties as assigned. This position is being filled for a start date around the middle of February.

Pay Rate is $18.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Can vary according to POST

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Able to work with Government personnel.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 18 years old (21 if Armed)
• Military and Veterans Encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with security equipment and Laws
• Ability to handle physical workload and hours
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Proficient with computer and related software ( Office, Adobe ETC)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screen
• Must be able to pass a security check
• Training and certifications are preferred but will train and certify the right person.
• Own and able to qualify with firearms of allowed calibers and firearm types. (If armed position, Officer II)
• Must be able to travel to the assigned post.
