What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skills Trainer position at L.E. Phillips Career Development Center?
As a Job Coach your role will be providing support, training, and direction through coaching and mentoring to individuals with disabilities/disadvantages on the job.
- Observe and case note the individuals’ strengths and limitations through observations of performances on the job.
- Work in collaboration with the job developer if there are any significant issues that occur on the job site.
- Conduct job analysis, breakdown of jobs, implementing training plans, coaching and mentoring (may include re-showing work tasks, providing verbal cues or visual aids etc.)
- The individual in this position will report to the Job Developer
