What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Events Coordinator position at L&f Distributors Llc?
Special Events Coordinator is responsible for the events that L&F agrees to sponsor. There needs to be a lot of coordination and planning involved for the events. Special Events Coordinator reports to the Sales Manager for that location. They must possess an alcohol license as well as a driver’s license. Employee must be a team player and share responsibilities with the team. Employee must communicate and work with other members of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales. Employees will cooperate with other employees, supervisors and management and perform other duties as requested by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:
- Be licensed and able to drive motor vehicle.
- Must maintain insurability to operate a company vehicle.
- Be licensed by T.A.B.C. to sell alcoholic beverages.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Event responsibilities:
- Visit all assigned accounts for distribution of POS, coasters, ashtrays, table tents, etc.
- Required to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays
- Work with Advertising/Marketing Director
- Work through inception to realization of the sponsorship
- In charge of the logistics, equipment and personnel
- Schedule inventory and maintenance of equipment
- Works with Account Executives for radio, TV, and print under the corporate advertising department.
- Present to General Manager all donations and sponsorships
- Monthly and weekly reports for events
- Set-up of stage with set-up crew
- Make sure all banners, snow fencing, POS items are in place
- Look TABC legislature to make sure the event is within guidelines of the law.
- Handle sponsorship forms at the local level and larger sponsorship goes for funding at corporate office.
- Schedule the work rotation of employees.
- Ensure availability or the appropriate PPG items are available for distribution.
- Work closely with route salesman and regional managers to promote sales and delivery of products including package and draft.
- Maintain any and all schedules, reports and information as required by AB and management.
- Know event owner/manager/key personnel by name.
- Collect payment for product delivered-(Very important)
- Promote a good customer relation.
- Report and recap all events to management, including market trends
- Equipment and Vehicle:
- Keep the company vehicles and equipment in 1st class condition with special care given to vehicle’s brakes, tires, fuel, fluids, and safety equipment.
- Report all vehicle and equipment problems promptly.
- Report accidents to your supervisor and office immediately after they occur.

- To help load/unload beer cases at warehouse and at the promotional locations.
- Will need to assist or carry cases/kegs into event for promotions from company vehicle, these can vary in weight from 10-160 lbs.
- Ability to operate a two wheeled hand-truck.

Ability to walk around the event to check on POS, beer booths and to greet customers and ability to speak about our product
- This consists of standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, lifting, twisting, stair climbing, reaching/overhead reaching, and shoulder flexion/rotation/abduction/extension.

- Desk type work while working on a computer.
- This consists of sitting, bending, digital flexion/extension, wrist flexion/extension/radial deviation/ulnar deviation, elbow flexion/extension, radial-ulnar pronation/supination, shoulder flexion/extension/abduction/internal rotation/external rotation.
