Job Summary:
The POS Warehouse Clerk will maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment, manage receiving and unload trailer pallets and shipments from all couriers, and distribute Point of Sale (POS) materials. The clerk will also ensure that the store is merchandised properly, assist customers, and accurately process all point-of-sale transactions. The position also includes performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment, ensuring maximum floor efficiency.
- Receive, load, and unload pallets and shipments from all couriers.
- Distribute POS and stock materials in an orderly manner.
- Merchandise the store as required.
- Assist customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Accurately process all point-of-sale transactions.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack to move goods.
- Assist in the day-to-day warehouse operations and help ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the POS – Bud Store Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) software applications.
- Proficiency with Tagify application.
- Ability to operate a computer, tablet, and smartphone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and customers.
- Must be able to approach and assist customers promptly and handle multiple customers effectively.
- Ability to receive, load, and unload packages from tractor trailers as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related retail and warehouse experience.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to use hands for handling, grasping, and reaching.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling.
- Sitting, climbing, and balancing.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.
Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment)
Involves frequent/infrequent, occasional, and routine exposure to:
- Exposure to warehouse settings, where moving equipment and inventory may pose safety risks.
- Other extreme hazards not listed above.
Special Certifications and Licenses:
- Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
