Job Summary
We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills. The cashier will scan the customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers products, promotions, or item location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a prompt manner and dispatch the call.
- Attend the customer in the most courteous manner.
- Assist with accounting research and correction
- Cross train accounts payable, accounts receivables, inventory, reconciling, and cashier department.
- Filing, scanning, and maintaining files in the accounting share drive.
- Entering/Creating delivery orders
- Prepare bank deposits for daily sales.
- Perform other office job duties, as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Possess good clerical skills.
- Have good customer relation’s skills.
- Desk type work while working on a computer.
- A good employee relationship is essential.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and should be able to handle tough customers, keeping a positive attitude.
- Should have excellent telephone techniques.
- Must be knowledgeable in overall office skills.
- Must have an overview of our general business.
- Computer knowledge and currency handling procedures are essential.
- At least 2 years of customer service and clerical work experience or related field
- High school diploma or GED
