Job Summary
The on-premises sales representative will promote Favorite Brands products and embody the company culture. They will answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. They often recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. We are looking for someone who can contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
This position will specifically focus on wine. Previous knowledge regarding wine and the present market are strongly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must determine and maintain the proper scheduling of the route to ensure timely delivery of product and avoid out of stocks.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
- Seek out new opportunities to upsell at each account.
- Determine if any P.O.S. neon’s are needed or need to be replaced.
- Ensure accounts never have out of stocks.
- Balance time spent on phone with accounts based on sales.
- Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
- Keep track of competition and suggest new products to the managers.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Must be licensed to drive a motor vehicle and maintain insurability to drive company vehicles.
- Be licensed by T.A.B.C. to sell alcoholic beverages.
- Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
