General Description :
We are looking for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of sales and delivery personnel, driving increased sales and net profits. This role involves overseeing day-to-day sales operations, ensuring team members meet or exceed company standards, and positioning L&F Distributors as a leader in the beverage industry. The Regional Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the team to enhance customer relationships and expand sales opportunities.
This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a deep understanding of both sales strategies and customer needs. The Regional Sales Manager will work with minimal supervision and is expected to establish procedures to ensure the smooth execution of tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Lead and develop sales and delivery personnel to achieve or exceed company standards.
- Train staff to position themselves as experts in the beverage industry and help customers increase product sales.
- Oversee all sales transactions in compliance with company guidelines and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (T.A.B.C.).
Ensure team adherence to TABC regulations, state laws, and L&F Distributors quality standards.
Hold the team accountable for compliance with operational procedures and out of code (OOC) related to product freshness and expiration.Regularly audit team's performance to ensure all products are within code and meet legal and company standards.Monitor sales goals and assist the team in meeting or exceeding them.Conduct ride-along(s) with team members to evaluate performance and provide coaching.Troubleshot customer issues and provide solutions to enhance satisfaction and sales.Stay up to date with product knowledge and use this expertise to support both customers and sales teams.Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, staff, and coworkers.Communicate effectively with staff to ensure a clear understanding of goals, feedback, and expectations.Complete and submit required sales and incentive reports accurately and on time.Participate in training, seminars, and classes as needed.Additional duties as assigned.Job Qualifications Summary :
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in the beverage industry.Leadership experience, preferably in managing sales or delivery teams.Excellent communication and people skills, capable of understanding customer and employee needs.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and sales enablement software.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.Required Knowledge and Abilities :
In-depth understanding of the beverage distribution market.Proven ability to analyze sales data to inform decision-making and strategy.Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.Ability to identify customer needs and implement solutions that drive sales.Physical Demands :
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or in meetings.Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds for product demonstrations or event setups.Travel may require extended periods of driving or flying.Ability to navigate various environments, including retail and food service locations.Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment)

Exposure to various retail and food service environments, which may include noise, temperature fluctuations, and crowded spaces.Potential for exposure to product samples and promotional materials, requiring adherence to safety guidelines.Travel may involve risks associated with driving or flying, including adverse weather conditions.Occasional exposure to warehouse settings, where moving equipment and inventory may pose safety risks.Other extreme hazards not listed above.Special Certifications and Licenses :
Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.Must have a reliable personal vehicle for business-related travel. Mileage will be reimbursed through a third-party administrator (TPA).
Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.Certified Beverage Professional (CBP), Certified Sales Professional (CSP), food / beverage safety certification(s) (e.g., ServSafe), preferred.Reports to : Directly to Sales Manager (Off Premise)
