Job Summary
In this position you will cooperatively work with a team to efficiently receive products from the brewery. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members. Your job will involve driving around warehouses loading trucks at night for the next day deliveries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
During a shift, Warehouse Receivers at L&F Distributors can expect to :
- Unloads over-the-road trucks of new inventory from suppliers and places it in proper location in the warehouse
- Reports and documents any load, purchase order or bill of lading variances
- Records any inbound damaged product and reports it immediately to warehouse manager / supervisor
- Maintains all back stock space in a clean and organized fashion
- Unloads excess, returned and damaged stock from fleet vehicles places in its appropriate location
- Completes required equipment inspections prior to use
- Keeps warehouse clean and organized
- Works to minimize or eliminate breakage, and repacks broken or damaged packages
- Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposure to frequent sitting.
