The Role

The Project Controls III role will be critical in achieving successful program and project outcomes, including delivering required benefits to cost, time and performance. The ideal candidates are hands-on leaders capable of gathering and managing data, and analytical processes to predict, understand, and constructively influence the success of project deliverables.

Responsibilities

Lead cost engineering activities, including the development of cost estimates, cost analysis, and control

procedures

Review and assess project financials and variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions

Oversee the change management process, ensuring that all project changes are properly documented, analyzed,

and communicated

Coordinate with project teams to assess the financial and schedule impacts of changes and ensure accurate

change orders and updates to project forecasts

Identify, report, and mitigate risks through proactive planning, analysis, and regular risk assessments

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that project controls and

schedules align with project goals

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing them with the necessary information

for decision-making

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or other related technical field

Proven experience of 15 years in project controls managing the design and construction of large-scale

complex projects; preferably in the aviation sector

Expertise in developing and managing progress reporting methodologies for intricate design efforts

Hands-on knowledge of Design-Build and Construction Management at Risk delivery methods

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate progress and

issues to technical and management audiences

Solid proficiency with industry software : Prolog, Expedition, and Primavera 6.0 or higher

Advanced experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite products

Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations

Must currently reside within 40 miles of El Segundo, CA

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering, business, or other related technical field

Certifications : PMP, AAAE, LEED, PE, and / or any other relevant professional licensure of certification

Salary : Starting $150K - $175 experience

Status : Fulltime W2 Employee

Location : Hybrid - El Segundo or Client Sites in Greater Los Angeles Area

Benefits : Medical, Vision, & Dental
