Your Impact

As an Asphalt Roller Operator in our In-Town Paving Division, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects throughout the Flathead Valley. Your expertise in achieving perfect compaction and smoothness will directly contribute to the durability and quality of Montana's roads and surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Master the art of roller operation with precise overlapping passes to achieve optimal compaction
Apply your knowledge of material behavior and temperature effects to determine ideal operating parameters
Conduct equipment inspections to ensure peak performance and safety
Navigate safely in live traffic environments
Operate additional equipment as projects require
Travel to job sites across Montana

What You Bring

2 years of operating experience (roller operation experience preferred)

Sharp attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities

Excellence in both team collaboration and independent work

Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking

Commitment to safety and professional ethics

Flexibility for various shifts and overtime when needed

Physical Requirements

Regular lifting of 25-50 lbs

Comfortable with repetitive movements and extended periods of sitting / standing

Ability to navigate construction sites and operate equipment safely

Capacity to work in various weather conditions, with noise and vibrations
