Job Overview
L&H Companies is experiencing growth and is seeking an experienced, motivated, problem-solving individual to join our rapidly growing award-winning Engineering department as an Engineering Team Lead reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Essential Team Lead duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review daily Work Requests, set Engineering schedule,
- Director to approve Engineering schedule
- Give task update to Director prior to OPS call (7:30am)
- Setup Collaboration meetings between Managers, Fabrication and Installation
- Conduct peer review of shop drawings
- Verify drawings meet design intent
- Verify L&H best practices for sign construction are utilized
- This is an onsite, non-remote work position that will require working outside of regular business hours and require overtime as needed.
- Daily Workload will be scaled accordingly based on the amount of lead position work needing to be completed.
Other Team Lead duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Produce fabrication drawings for ADA interior signage, interior merchandising, and exterior signage from design intent drawings
- Ability to lay out and populate sign text from message schedules
- Generate documentation by creating and revising drawings and/or documentation as required
- Produce production-ready art, vinyl, and CAD router files for shop releases
Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or Corel Draw or comparable industry programs such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Good Engineer to order background
- Ability to create drawings from sketches, measurements, marked up prints and technical surveys
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills; written, verbal, and listening
- Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD is not necessary, but helpful
- Experience with ADA standards a plus
- Work independently with and without supervision
