We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing processes. You will play a critical part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality assurance protocols, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits and document findings to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with production teams to fabricate components that meet quality standards while providing feedback on process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits in accordance with FDA regulations.
- Identify non-conformities and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
- Assist in training team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in QA/QC roles, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques, including the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to product safety and quality assurance.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of independence.
