What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Intimate Partner Violence Educator/Prevention Specialist position at L.I. Against Domestic Violence?
Duties:
- Conduct educational sessions and workshops on teen dating violence, intimate partner violence and sexual violence in middle schools, high schools, community groups and businesses.
- Staff tables at collaborative community awareness events
- Coordinate program including staff and volunteers
- Expand and develop relationships within the community
- Maintain monthly statistical data and reports
Requirements:
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis.
-Bachelors Degree in social work, communications or related field.
