Sourcing Manager - Archdale, NC

We have three manufacturing facilities and multiple Stickley, retail showrooms across the country.
As Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for all activities related to the procurement and planning of Stickley Fine Upholstery product and raw materials as well as leading strategic sourcing activities across multiple manufacturing sites. You will direct the day-to-day activities of the Archdale Sourcing team, which includes Purchasing, Planning and Inventory Management for all direct and indirect materials.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Sourcing activities for the Stickley Fine Upholstery site, including purchasing, planning and inventory control
- Manage vendors to determine best outcomes based on price, quality, delivery, and other factors
- Develop new sources of supply in support of both Stickley domestic facilities (Archdale, NC and Manlius, NY) for both direct and indirect material
- Perform cost analysis and demand planning for materials, equipment and services utilized by Stickley Fine Upholstery
- Develop working knowledge of Microsoft AX, Stickley Fine Upholstery's Manufacturing system
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, ensuring the best outcomes for Stickley
- Develop, negotiate, and implement contracts and supply agreements where required
- Recommend & implement cost savings including make-versus-buy analysis and/or alternative sourcing options
- Participate in the development & management of the company cost savings pipeline
- Direct implementation of purchasing policies and practices for Stickley Fine Upholstery
- Build, develop and lead a team capable of carrying out the Sourcing strategies and tactics for Stickley Fine Upholstery
- Execute projects to achieve overall Supply Chain goals / objectives, including LEAN / continuous improvement projects
- Support new product launch activities
- Drive inventory reduction projects and efforts to improve overall inventory performance for Stickley Fine Upholstery
- Manage the Stickley Fine Upholstery cycle counting process to ensure counts are completed per established processes and publish metrics
- Support overall portfolio management activities
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Sourcing / Procurement and related functions
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
- Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma principles and processes
- Excellent time-management, project management and organizational skills
- Possess excellent judgment and be able to work in a changing environment
- Demonstrated success in planning, purchasing and inventory management
- Demonstrated success executing cost savings projects
- Strong computer skills (proficient with Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
