What are the responsibilities and job description for the Options Trader/Portfolio Manager position at L.Knighton?
About the Company
Our client is a renowned multi-strat proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, with offices in London, New York, Toronto, Miami, Dubai, and more. They are looking for experienced Options Traders (equities, index, or fixed income only) to run their own book in Chicago & London. They pride themselves in being a leading liquidity provider in financial markets worldwide with expertise in trading, hedging, risk management and technology.
Requirements:
- Experience trading your own capital allocation, ideally having ran at least $5M individually
**(Traders in shared books also welcome provided they fulfill the remaining requirements)
- Minimum 20-30% returns post-split.
- Proficiency with prop-style options strategies including VolArb, Dispersion, Skews, and Relative Value on EU/Asia/US books (excluding VIX).
- Minimum PnL of $2m annually and/or 2.0 Sharpe Ratio.
- Live Results Required: Candidates that have not traded/ran a book within the last year unfortunately cannot be considered at this stage.
- No independent traders can be considered at this stage (excluding candidates who have worked in similar environments prior).
- No candidates only working within Indian markets as the firm does not have access to these as of yet.
Pay and compensation package details:
- ~35% of P&L and a competitive base dependent on location.
- $20M individual allocation.
