And if it’s outside, we’re all in. The Information Services Enterprise Services & Productivity Team is looking for a high-performing Systems Analyst who specializes in ServiceNow. We welcome the opportunity for this role to be hybrid based at the corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine, or to be based remotely in the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin. Position Purpose: The Systems Analyst designs and implements high complexity, high visibility, high impact and strategic technical solutions to meet business informational needs and requirements for strategic initiatives. Provides technical leadership in broad, high complexity, visibility and impact projects which span multiple systems. Responsible for the designs, development, testing and documentation of applications based on technical configurations and specifications. The Systems Analyst works across all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle for our ServiceNow portfolio, specializing in the ITSM, ITOL, and Asset Management modules. Duties and Responsibilities Applies technical expertise in multiple highly specialized areas of application systems analysis and design. Demonstrated high level of interest and aptitude in technical areas. Possesses expert functional knowledge of businesses supported. Extremely current ServiceNow technical knowledge. Exerts extensive technical leadership within development team. Expert skills at evaluating new solutions within the context of an existing solution. Recognizes and promotes the need for code refactoring when appropriate. Expert design skills and exceptional development output. Provides technical leadership on highly complex and strategic projects. Responsible for application design (high level and micro), development, testing, debugging and documentation for multiple applications. Responsible for the development of project testing and implementation plans. Ensures designs and solutions take performance into consideration. Applies formal methodologies when designing and developing solutions, including the usage of software design patterns. Provides options for and estimates of possible solutions Participates in project planning and development and assumes responsibility for project scope including the guidance of others. Responsible for the technical work of multiple team members working with multiple technologies across multiple applications, including instructing, directing and validating their work. Intensive business and vendor contact shaping the project deliverables, including requirements, scope, feasibility, performance, security, test strategy and execution. Coordinates integration activities between multiple technical teams. Estimates and tracks time required to complete work, for project budgeting and financial tracking. Works independently and collaboratively with team; provides regular updates to leader. Coordinate environment set-up: code releases, data loads, asset load, etc. Manage any technical issues that arise during development and testing. Participate in or lead the selection, implementation and integration of packaged software. Conducts and participates in design and code reviews. Ensures the project team adheres to development standards and best coding practices. Ensures the project team adheres to security standards in support of PCI compliance. Participates in the identification & development of new shop standards consistent with L.L.Bean's enterprise Referential architecture. Responsible for 24x7 research and resolution of production system problems. Coordinates problem resolution for assigned applications, including working with other technical teams. On call – provides day time and after hours on call support. Participates in the recruitment of team members both employees and contractor Acts as primary technical liaison to software vendors Build trusted relationships and regularly provides mentorship to technicians at all levels. Sought after resource by senior level business and IT executives. Master Troubleshooter. Act as an effective change agent, process savvy May manage assigned personnel Establish performance objectives, assign/direct work, monitor progress and appraise performance Develop employees in job-related skills through work assignments, direct training and development plans, and provide regular feedback, both positive and developmental Recommend and administer wages and salaries of direct reports Communicate company policies and procedures and resolve routine personnel problems in accordance with them Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNow Advanced knowledge of ITSM and ITOM modules Strong knowledge of Procurement, Hardware and Software Asset Management Strong JavaScript coding ability in ServiceNow Advanced knowledge of ITIL concepts Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration with all levels of the business and IT, from end users to managers Works well within tight technical and business constraints Strong interpersonal skills Strong team player Self-Learner Nice to Have: Knowledge and skills supporting systems and network management tools.
