Job Title: Sales Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team. This individual will be front-facing, with an aptitude for active prospecting. The successful candidate will expand and maintain customer relationships and contribute to the overall growth of our sales department.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers to generate new business.
- Act as a presence in the field to ensure visibility and availability to customers.
- Research and maintain a target list of potential new businesses in defined channels.
- Develop a deep understanding of target clients to create programs that drive sales and repeat business.
- Develop proposals for prospective customers.
- Coordinate sales efforts with operations, marketing, accounting, and legal departments.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential new product opportunities.
- Accurately document customer transactions and complete required paperwork.
- Attend trade shows and conventions.
- Stay up to date with industry news, competitor products, and market developments.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of sales experience in WHOLESALE is required (floor sales experience is not considered).
- A proven track record in a front-facing, proactive sales role.
- This is a full-time position with potential travel of 20% or more.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience).
