This position is a self-motivated role, we are looking for a team member that is able to coordinate and complete tasks without a lot of oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ingredient Preparation: Accurately and efficiently prepare ingredients (chopping, slicing, measuring, etc.) according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Recipe Compliance: Follow portion sizes, presentation specifications, and food prep guidelines.
- Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with line cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Inventory Support: Assist with checking and restocking inventory as needed to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Flexibility: Support the kitchen team with additional tasks, including dishwashing or line cooking, when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous prep cook or kitchen experience is preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen tools and equipment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one prior to starting.
