We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorneyto join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal defense law and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients facing serious charges. As an Associate Attorney at L & L Law Group, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys to develop defense strategies, represent clients in court, and provide comprehensive legal counsel. No experience necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a full caseload of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases from intake
• through trial or resolution
• Represent clients in criminal proceedings, including arraignments, pre-trial hearings, trials, and sentencing.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed about their cases and addressing their concerns.
• Collaborate with the legal team to share insights and support complex cases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Texas State Bar Required and in good standing.
• 1-3 years of experience in criminal defense law preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent courtroom presence and negotiation abilities.
