The ideal candidate would work in the shop in Carson City during the off-season (November-April) and as a dockhand at the lake from May-October. This candidate should be punctual and possess a positive attitude with a willingness to learn, have customer service and organizational skills, a great work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
In the shop the candidate must be able to follow directions, have basic mechanical and tool knowledge. This job includes, but is not limited to assisting with any repairs, keeping shop area clean and orderly, assist with inventory counts, keeping inventory clean and orderly, operate a forklift, maintain tools in good condition and other general labor duties as assigned.
As a dockhand, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking, on-time individual who is good with tools to manage the process of the safe mooring of boats, general operations of the dock, assisting in coordinating the arrival and departure of boats, maintaining a safe and clean environment, renting Jet Skis from booking to launching as well as daily cleaning and maintenance.
Must be available weekends and weekdays as well as holidays, maintain a professional appearance, have a friendly demeanor and reliable transportation, Some prior boating experience is preferred. Full-time positions are available with advancement opportunities and the possibility of year-around employment for the right candidate.
