We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and willingness to learn various accounting practices. This is a full time position requiring a 40 hour work week with flexibility as to start and end times as long as hours occur between 7am and 5pm.
*Duties*
-Manage daily cash duties including balancing cash drawers and creating, balancing, and submitting deposits.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
-Perform weekly payroll activities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Manage journal entries
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks for bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with governmental and corporate accounting procedures
- Conduct clerical tasks including 10-key typing
