Laser & Press Brake Operator
L & N Metal Works is a family-owned full-service fabrication facility located in Gillett, WI. Our 20,000 square foot facility is equipped with advanced fabrication equipment including a tube laser, 2 fiber plate lasers, a 13’ press brake, tube bending equipment, a laser welder, and a robotic welder. In addition to laser cutting and forming of custom production parts, L & N Metal Works fabricates metal railings, stair framing, structural steel, cat walks, ladders, decorative steel, and other metal projects.
Responsibilities:
- Execute proper start-up and shut-down of machine
- Load, set-up, and run machine to planned arrangements
- Read & interpret prints and specs to determine proper machine operations
- Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent quality issues
- Responsible for the quality of all materials produced while maintaining company safety guidelines
- All other miscellaneous duties, as required
Qualifications:
- 1 year of Laser and / or Press Brake experience required
- Manufacturing/Fabrication/CNC experience
- Must have good work history and attendance record
- Must be able to multi-task
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Prior use of calipers and gauges and ability to read tape measure
- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Full time; 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday, with opportunities for overtime (Fridays as needed)
