We are the internal creative team for L’Oreal USA’s American Brands of the Professional Products Division, including Redken, Matrix, Biolage, Pureology, Mizani, Pulp Riot and L’Oreal Technique.
We are in need of a Manager of Testing who will be responsible for the development of the technical products (Hair Care and Styling) on a worldwide basis. To understand needs of the market; history of the brands; interact with the labs, Marketing and countries. Oversee testing in conjunction with lab testing facility.

Requirements Include
- Hairdresser Licence
- Experience in product development
- Dynamic fashion-forward with the ability to make presentations with strong impact
- Strong orientation to the salon industry; proven ability to relate and build relationships with hairdressers
- Sensitivity to the Coiffure ‘metier’, and beauty products
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Appreciation of global markets and trends
- 5 years of experience, preferably within beauty industry.
- Exceptional knowledge of all Redken and Matrix products in performance and technology.
- Able to use compusense and set up rooms for testing protocols
- Exceptional craftsmanship skills and attention to detail
- Planning and anticipating project needs
- Ability to make quick decisions, problem solve and multi-task
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse international internal and external contacts
- Computer literacy on Windows, iOS, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Language skills a plus.
- Knowledge of the fashion and beauty business preferred
- Previous experience as a technician a plus
- Salary Range: $98,400-$140,200
