Job Summary
The Process Engineer works in the Quality department. The primary responsibility is to validate the manufacturing process to ensure the ability of the plant to produce bulk within specifications. The PE will also provide process expertise to the processing production unit, use problem solving tools to support in investigating non-conforming results, and be involved in process optimization.

Job Summary
The Process Engineer works in the Quality department. The primary responsibility is to validate the manufacturing process to ensure the ability of the plant to produce bulk within specifications. The PE will also provide process expertise to the processing production unit, use problem solving tools to support in investigating non-conforming results, and be involved in process optimization.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Write, validate, and manage manufacturing procedures for new formulas, reformulations, batch size/vessel changes, process improvements, etc.
- Write validation protocols and reports for OTC formulas.
- Support investigations of non-conforming batches
- Participate in and lead risk assessments, both internally and with corporate partners.
- Ensure GMP and FDA compliance in processing, pre-weigh, and other areas of the plant.
- Write rework procedures for bulks to correct an out of specification issue on bulk
- Actively engage in safety, quality, and performance initiatives in the plant and with corporate partners
- Work with Pilot plant and R&I labs in development of manufacturing processes
- Other related duties as required.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, and ability to build positive work relationships with all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Be self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team member, and use strong organizational and time management skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with processing equipment and writing manufacturing procedures preferred
- Good knowledge of GMP requirements preferred
