Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Analytics & Insights is responsible for providing the Media teams with data-driven insights and measurement solutions that guide optimization and investment decisions. This role operates in a consultative fashion with the media team, identifying critical business questions, developing supporting framework and logical solutions. We are problem solvers who apply rigorous analytical skills to assess and steer L’Oréal’s paid media investments, driving growth through data-driven insights on efficacy as well as efficiency. The Senior Manager collaborates with multiple internal teams across IT, media, marketing to deliver strategic analyses and recommendations, conduct experiments, and produce tools that support media effectiveness.

Description
- Using your foundational knowledge of media platform data and business data from a multitude of sources, you will oversee the end-to-end process of orchestrating the setup of key data elements, determining ideal database environment solutions, maintaining / establishing data ETL and QA processes to ensure their continued stability.
- Listen to business questions and reporting requirements to create customized reports / dashboards that provide data-driven answers that aid in business decisions.
- Requires an eye for numbers, intellectual curiosity, proficiency at problem solving, a strong understanding of digital / traditional media.
- Work with the media teams to create measurable online and offline campaign objectives and key performance indicators.
- Determine campaign data and tracking requirements – manage measurement systems for data capture and reporting.
- Ensure teams have access to self-service visualization and reporting tools as well as oversee maintenance of data governance principles within BI platform.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on key business initiatives and manages on-going data projects related to media.
- Determine appropriate project prioritization based on potential business impacts that measurement/analytics would enable.
- Assist media teams to ensure successful onboarding of existing media dashboards to foster user adoption and scalability. Provide ongoing training and educational resources to help users become proficient on how to use and leverage the media effectiveness tool. Conduct workshops, and one-on-one training sessions as necessary.
- Keep media and marketing teams informed about product updates, and best practices through regular communication channels such as newsletters, webinars, and email updates.
- Establish and monitor key product metrics, such as user adoption and retention. Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to improve business outcomes.
- Oversee the demand management & delivery process to ensure continued product stability for all media reporting needs.
- Collaborate with the Global team to help govern taxonomy compliance updates, proper ingestion of O O data sources and ensure consistency across KPI definitions.
- Ensure tech team builds & maintains appropriate data sourcing pipelines as well as quality assurance procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; 5-6 years of professional experience.
- Can work independently and as part of a team to deliver business insights.
- Strong skills in written and oral communications, a can-do attitude and the willingness to tackle hard problems in innovative ways.
- Must be able to interpret and clearly communicate results to a non-technical audience through clear and engaging storytelling.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment that values cross-team collaboration and building on the success of others.
- Ability to develop and track the performance of comprehensive project plans, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term media goals.
- Be self-driven and show the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.
- Great project management, measurement, and planning capability; taking ownership from the start to the finish.
- Salary Range: $137,000 – $195,200
