What You Will Do:
The role of the IT Manager is to work together with a team of IT specialists with in-depth knowledge of SAP ECC (an Enterprise Resource Planning business process management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business and automate many back office functions related to technology, services, and human resources) and SAP APO (a set of software applications from SAP for supply chain management which is designed to help a company improve demand and supply planning, production planning and detailed scheduling). S/he will ensure that all users from his/her specific domain at L’Oreal in the Americas are supported in their IT application requirements. This will encompass resolving issues faced due to data, technical issues, and user assistance to ensure that business activities are not impacted. The IT Manager Sr. will provide insights and work with his manager to help design and develop new functionalities required to enhance business efficiency by utilizing IT tools in their domain.
- Provide support for L’Oreal Operations (Americas) from an IT perspective.
- Understand and address business requirements on his/her addressed L’Oreal Domains
- Have cross-knowledge in different domains of the Supply Chains, including basic knowledge of various tools not directly related to his/her domain.
- Test enhancements, bug fixes, and system solutions
- Develop job aids and procedures.
- Participate in coaching and development of users.
- Onboard new team members in his/her supported domain, providing guidance and functional knowledge needed.
- Manage multiple projects as assigned.
- Collaborate on change management for end users in terms of training in the tools related to his/her supported domain.
- Learn, deploy, and support new tools or solutions as needed for business, as assigned by his/her direct manager.
- Willingness to support time-critical processes like monthly cycles, MRP, etc., to ensure full end-user support, including weekends, respecting a pre-defined schedule.
- Strong knowledge of SAP-ECC and SAP-APO and technical skills to support other solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience required.
- Experience in IT or as a super user in a business area working on SAP ECC and SAP APO applications.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts as applicable in his/her assigned domain
- Knowledge of APO and ECC modules related to his/her assigned domain
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
- Capable of coordinating another team member
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment, interface with multiple teams (or individuals) and manage change, make decisions (confidence in decisions with minimal level of approval)
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to build strong work relationships with all levels of a geographically dispersed team and end-user organization.
