What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner/Physican's Assistant position at L&P Aesthetics?
We are looking for an experienced Aesthetic Injector who is skilled and passionate about the aesthetic industry to work out of our Los Gatos and Palo Alto offices. The ideal candidate is motivated, passionate about aesthetics, and eager to build their clientele while contributing to our growing practice. Experience with lasers and injectables is desired.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the supervising physician and consistent with authorized practice as defined by state law
- Preform laser treatments
- Preform injectable treatments with Galderma and Allergan products
- Functions in a goal-oriented team & contributes to monthly goals
- Performs other medspa services where appropriately skilled and licensed
- Maintains all licenses and CME training, as well as recommended training
- Maintains detailed records within the company’s patient management system with regard to patient treatments, outcomes, and other required medical input
- Responsible for the coordination of retention correspondence to patients regarding their follow-up treatment plan
- Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in cosmetic dermatology.
- Offer and recommend products that align with our mission of improving overall well-being.
Education and Experience
- RN, NP OR PA License (Required)
- 5 years of experience practicing in a medical setting
- 3 -5 years of injectables experience
- Expert with Neuromodulators and HA Fillers
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with California state license
- 2 years of experience performing laser services
- Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of skin care treatment and pathology
- Experience with laser hair removal and Sciton devices
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Medical Grade skincare
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Treats patients and co-workers with respect
