Description
LS Black is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager who can engage with various staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, enthusiastic, and efficient with a high level of professionalism. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will organize, manage, and plan projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts.
Responsibilities
Organization, flexibility, excellent customer focus, and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:
- Assists project manager(s)
- Helps in contract negotiations with subcontractors.
- Provides support in buyouts.
- Contributes to project proposals.
- Updates project schedule
- Familiarity with and well-versed in LSB and client software systems.
- Updates and modifies site logistics, EAP, DAP, and other shared documents.
- Attends OAC & Staff meetings.
- May be the main point of contact on smaller projects.
- Manages scopes as determined by the PM I and/or PM II
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
- Skilled with using P6.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education:
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- At least one year of related experience is required.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.

Salary : $76,933 - $84,819
