What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reliability Technician position at L & S Electric, Inc?
Openings in Milwaukee, Eau Claire, and Minneapolis. Additional opening with time spent in Rhinelander and central WI.
We are willing to train! Candidates with relevant mechanical experience and computer aptitude are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Vibration analysis of rotating industrial equipment (condition monitoring).
- Dynamic field balancing of fans, etc...
- Laser shaft alignment.
- Generating report summaries.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic rotating machinery problems.
- Assist team with DC Motor Brush inspections.
- Willingness to respond to service calls, sometimes outside of normal work hours.
Requirements:
- General understanding of mechanical working of industrial rotating equipment.
- Strong computer aptitude.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluent in English.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Able to wear all required PPE.
Preferred:
- Certified Vibration Analyst
Physical demands:
- Environmental conditions vary from facility to facility (i.e. heat, noise, some outdoor work).
- Occasional aerial work is necessary (working on mezzanines, etc...)
- Lifting up to 50lbs.
- Normal Monday-Friday working hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- Infrequent overnight travel.
