We are seeking a self-motivated and professional Counter Sales Associate. They should be customer-oriented, with strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Efficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel to generate accurate and timely reports
- Daily use of Microsoft Outlook and Teams to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective use of our ERP software and support systems to perform the following key functions:
- Repair Job opening and closure
- Repair Billing
- Procurement
- Repair-Assisting with quotations and data transfer
- New product walk in orders
- Credit card payments
- Inventory Cycle Counts
- Assist walk-in customers with incoming repair or the purchase of a new product.
- Answer phone, screen phone calls, and route callers to the appropriate party
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Maintain lobby displays
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- General clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and mailing, other duties as delegated by the Manager.
- Back up shipping and receiving as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized office area.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and Excel in particular).
- Have used or has familiarity with an ERP system.
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to set priorities, manage multiple deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fluent in English language
Preferred
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Acumatica experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of electric motors preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
Physical Demands
- Long periods of standing; occasional periods of sitting and/or bending.
- Able to lift 70lbs
- Uneven or slippery walking surfaces.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
