Job Summary
As an electrical service technician at L&S, you will maintain, repair, install, and upgrade electrical equipment in residential homes. Electrical service techs identify issues and communicate solutions to homeowner. This position will work closely with the L&S Customer Service Dept. and production. Key relationships will also include builders and homeowners.
General Responsibilities
- Perform residential warranty and service work. Diagnosis and repair electrical systems to include camera doorbells, Smart switches, fan controls and arch fault and GFI circuit breakers.
- All work is done according to the National Electrical Code and short cuts are not allowed. We do the right thing.
- Communicate with the Service manager and dispatch.
- Daily work in people’s homes in a professional manor and displaying a high level of communication skills.
- Utilize iPad / tablet to enter service call solutions and to acquire daily schedule for reviewing and planning efficient workday routes.
- Work alongside industry experts to expand trade knowledge and experience.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
