Sales Director - Industrial
We are seeking an experienced Sales Head for Industrial Semiconductor Solutions sales to Industrial Automation, Test & measurement & Building Automation product companies. The role will focus on building customer traction and revenue streams for North America. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales revenue growth and building client engagements.
Areas Of Responsibility
Strategy:
- Build a comprehensive industry mapping of leading IND Automation, building automation and T&M companies as prospects.
- Understand fundamental business drivers and competitive landscape to craft strategic engagement proposals for long term value delivery.
- Develop and execute market strategies and sales plan.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure the product offerings meets market needs (cost vs feature set vs performance) along the entire value chain.
Sales:
- Build revenue streams through customer engagement for organic and inorganic product portfolio
- Drive product positioning and pricing of our current products to new and existing customers.
- Effectively execute sales calls to all potential decision makers uncovering unmet needs and concisely demonstrating the value that LTSCT offers.
- Facilitate customer sample evaluations, new design wins, build strategic relationships with clients.
- Clearly and accurately articulate the voice of the customer to cross-functional team.
- Present strategies and business plans to executive management for approval.
- Leadership role in developing a winning proposal and professionally presenting this to the customer.
- Lead efforts for design wins (analyze RFQs/RFIs/Quotes etc.) and forecast revenue associated.
- Support preparation of quarterly forecasts for financial and supply management incl. 5 year strategy plan for market segment.
- Establish a diverse sales and FAE team to be the front engine for effective customer engagement and establish a uniform customer experience sales playbook.
- Drive brand building in the industry with participation in conferences and industry forums
Relationships:
- Create and cultivate close relationships with key decision makers at customers.
- Build and maintain strong, respect-based business relationships focusing on increasing social capital inside target customers entire organization.
- Foster relationships with potential new customers to drive RFQ opportunities.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Experience and Qualification
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, business or related field.
- 20 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in semiconductors for Industrial sector.
- Track record of winning new business and large deals
- Extensive knowledge of Industrial sector sales and program management preferred
- Willingness to travel for customer and team meetings
