Role: HIL Development Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
- HIL Bench commissioning
- End to End Creation and Validation of Vehicle specific harnesses
- Configuration of dSPACE I/O Pins, FIU Pins and ADC and DAC pins etc.
- Configuration desk update based on dSPACE multiple boards.
- Usage of Current and Voltage measuring and monitoring equipment's like Multimeter, Oscilloscope
- Understand and Update the Matlab Models based on requirements.
- Good understanding of the working of Sensors, Solenoid, Relays, Switches and other kind of loads.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience with Bachelors degree or 3 years and Master's degree
- Basic knowledge of electrical & electronics circuits and components
- Ability to study & understand electrical & electronic schematic & layout
- Exposure to electrical test equipment including but not limited to power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers etc.
- Exposure to automation in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to be flexible and responsive
- Good verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Understanding of working principle of power electronic devices used in electric vehicle
- Understanding of communication protocols like Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN etc.
- Good software & hardware troubleshooting skills
