Job Summary:

Performs assembly, installs, and wires components. Pulls and packages hardware for rail industry products.

Shift And Hours

• Monday-Thursday; 5:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  
  

Compensations

• Non-exempt; pay will be commensurate with experience.
  
  

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Operates hand and power tools.
• Positions, aligns, and adjusts work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
• Reads and interprets schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, work orders to determine assembly instructions.
• Perform daily housekeeping and cleanliness procedures.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment, as necessary.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to do basic math.
• Ability to read, write, and understand and interpret instructions.
  
  

Education And Other Requirements

• Able to lift 50lbs or less.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Must be able to work in a team with others.
• Must be able to follow instructions and take direction.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Must follow personal protective equipment policies.
• Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise and fumes.
• Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges, and congested work area.
• Will be pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping, and lifting to 50 pounds.

Products are shipped across North America to all Class I railroads as well as smaller regional railroads.
