L&W Industries, LLC designs, manufactures and distributes signal products, grade crossing assemblies, bungalows and other mission critical items. Products are shipped across North America to all Class I railroads as well as smaller regional railroads. Products are also designed and delivered to large project integrators and construction companies for installation on both freight and transit rail markets

- Monday-Wednesday
- 4:14 p.m.- 4:45 a.m. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.
Compensations
Non-exempt, pay will be commensurate with experience. Starting pay is $18 per hour.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Operate Prima Power laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process and assist other machine operators.
- Select and set up based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters.
- Operate a crane to move material onto machine.
- Monitor production to ensure conformance with process sheet and time standards.
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
- Deburr parts.
- Requires strong math skills including conversation of fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.
- Requires ability to visualize how to take a flat pattern and identify the sequence and settings required to program the machine to produce the finished part to print.
- Requires basic understanding of 3D models.
- Must have ability to use dial and Vermeer calipers as well as machinist squares and protractors.
- Basic Cad Knowledge and good computer skills.
- Able to lift 50lbs or less.
- Must pass drug screen.
- Must be able to work in a team with others.
- Must be able to follow instructions and take direction.
- Must follow personal protective equipment policies.
- Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise and fumes.
- Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges and congested work area.
- Will be pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping, and lifting to 50 pounds.
