Regional Controller

L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. L&W Supply delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.

The Region Controller provides support to all L&W associates within the region, under the direct supervision of the Regional Vice President (RVP) and guidance from the Senior Director of Finance and Controller with support from the National Support Center (NSC).

Specific duties include:

·        Conduct P&L reviews with stakeholders at various levels of the organization

·        Present financial results to executive management in quarterly business reviews

·        Lead quarterly forecast and annual budget processes

·        Create pro forma analyses of acquisition targets and new startup locations

·        Conduct and/or support investment analyses related to capital expenditures

·        Perform payroll, op ex and overhead analysis to improve operating efficiencies and expense leverage

·        Provide tracking and analysis for product launch and targeted growth initiatives

·        Develop recommendations to address internal audit concerns and opportunities for improvement

·        Interface with Corporate FP&A and Accounting to ensure accurate business plans and financial results

·        Support monthly accounting activities

·        Lead and/or support miscellaneous projects as directed by Region Management

·        Excellent Microsoft Excel skills preferred

·        Ability to travel 15%-20%

·        Ability to work in both team and individual environments

·        Ability to learn ERP and Business Intelligence reporting platforms
