What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Technician position at L2R Consulting?
We are seeking Manual Application Technicians to assist with the deployment and validation of applications on enterprise devices. Technicians will be responsible for imaging and manually loading applications onto laptops using SCCM, MS Deploy, and EXE files, ensuring all required applications are installed per inventory specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate Imaging – Ensure laptops are properly imaged before manual application installation.
- Reimage Laptops – As needed, reimage devices that do not meet the required standards.
- Application Installation – Manually install requested applications via SCCM, MS Deploy, EXE files, and other methods.
- Inventory Verification – Cross-check installed applications against the inventory list to confirm completeness.
- Palletized Laptop Processing – Unbox, process, and prepare laptops arriving on pallets.
- Technical Support – Troubleshoot and resolve application installation issues as they arise.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Experience with SCCM – Ability to advertise and deploy applications through SCCM.
✅ Imaging Expertise – Knowledge of imaging processes and ability to reimage machines.
✅ Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with manual application installation methods (MS Deploy, EXE files, etc.).
✅ Detail-Oriented – Ability to validate and track installed applications accurately.
✅ Team Player – Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced deployment environment.
Additional Notes:
- The role is based onsite at the CDSC "Riz Room" in Doral, FL for the full project duration.
- While technicians are expected to stay for the entire project, scope adjustments may lead to early project completion for some team members.
