Job Title: PC Technician (Driver)

Job Description:
We are seeking 2 dedicated PC Technicians (Drivers) to support a school district in the Columbia, SC area. As a PC Technician, your primary role will involve traveling between several school locations to update and repair Dell computers, ensuring they meet required performance standards. This position requires someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and reliable transportation to efficiently complete the assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between designated school locations to update and repair Dell computers.
- Perform hardware repairs, software updates, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Ensure all machines are properly configured and fully operational.
- Install necessary software updates and test systems for optimal performance.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, updates, and other work performed.
- Collaborate with project teams to address challenges and report progress.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Provide excellent customer support to end-users (teachers, school staff) when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a PC Technician or similar technical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and operating systems, specifically with Dell computers.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a clean background and pass any required background checks.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations.
- Availability to work Monday through Thursday, with potential additional hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
