We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Network Security Engineer to join our security operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, a solid foundation in network security, effective communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of secure network architecture solutions.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of security infrastructure components, such intrusion detection, traffic analysis, and logging systems.
- Collaborate on design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Perform technical verification and validation of network security requirements, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.
- Conduct basic penetration testing of network systems.
- Respond to network security incidents and assist in incident investigations.
- Provide technical support for network security-related issues.
- Remain up to date on the latest network security trends and technologies.
