-Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance on low and medium voltage distribution equipment and substations.
-Breakers
-Transformers
-Cables
-Protective Relays
-ATS
-MCCs
-Adheres to testing and service protocols as well as customer requirements, ANSI/IEEE/NETA procedures and OEM requirements.
Qualifications:
-Power testing background
-2 years of professional working experience within a power electronics/substation based setting
-Ability to read and interpret substation and electrical drawings such as; blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, single line drawings, AC and DC schematics, panel layouts, etc..
-Ability to complete installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical equipment for power distribution system and substations
-Experience working with; breakers, transformers, cables, protective relays, ATS, MCC’s, etc..
-Ability to troubleshoot distribution and transmission controls circuits
-Ability to utilize electronic equipment such as; multimeter, voltmeter, clamp meter, resistance tester, power quality analyzer, circuit analyzer, protective relay tester, etc..
