Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas within the hotel. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

Duties

• Cleaning: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming common areas
• Maintenance: Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or unclogging toilets
• Organization: Arranging furniture, setting up rooms, and ensuring areas are stocked with supplies
• Event support: Setting up and cleaning for events
• Outdoor maintenance: Gardening, mowing, watering plants, and cleaning windows, paths, and steps
• Customer service: Assisting guests with their luggage and providing excellent customer service
• Emergency calls: Able to answer phone calls

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
• Bilingual English-Spanish
• Physical mobility and stamina
• Ability to follow instructions
• Detail orientation skills
• Professional attitude
• Able to lift and carry heavy objects such as furniture and luggage
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Evening shift
