Responsibilities
- Adopt a proactive stance in creating and revising work packets based on Division schedules using the MRP system, while collaborating with Master Scheduling.
- Persistent data management in MRP systems to ensure accurate planning and ordering requisites.
- Dissect material order needs and initiate timely orders to synchronize with production timelines, alerting relevant teams of urgent items.
- Assess and verify that all elements of manufacturing orders are complete, preparing exhaustive job packets for manufacturing operations.
- Liaise with purchasing and product teams to address any disruptions in schedule adherence.
- Leverage the company's Management Information System for adept program execution.
Core Skills Required
- Qualified to acquire and sustain a DoD clearance.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office and MRP systems, with SAP skills as a plus.
- Strong problem-solving capability paired with excellent communication skills.
- Adept at elucidating processes and procedures clearly to varied audiences.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and thriving under pressure to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- An enriched blend of educational background and practical experience in production planning is expected.
- Completion of high school education with eight years of experience in Production Planning, or an Associate's degree coupled with four years of experience.
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a US Citizen.
