Position Highlights: Work a 4/10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM.
This critical role involves hands-on involvement in the testing of rocket engines. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with rocket engine hot-fire tests and collaborating closely with your technical team.
- Handling electrical components by setting up sensors, wiring, and electronic equipment.
- Operating control computers and monitoring test data.
- Document events meticulously and maintain accurate records.
- Calibrate and repair electronic equipment.
What we expect:
- Follow instructions precisely and select the right sensors and electronics for each task.
- Configure software and calibrate complex data measurement systems.
- Conduct electronic repairs, including soldering and crimping connectors.
- Pass a Respirator clearance up to SCBA Level A.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED and 4 years relevant experience or an Associate's in instrumentation or electronics.
Preferred Skills:
- Military background in electronics/avionics.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and proficiency with computer systems.
- Experience with hazardous environments and emergency response.
- Skillful with fine hand tasks and clear visual acuity.
Benefits and Pay:
Salary ranges from $23.38/hr to $43.51/hr. L3Harris provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, disability insurance, 401(k), and more, tailored to your needs based on location and experience.
